This has made the winter weather more bearable. Perfect for rainy/snowy days between walks. It arrived quick and no assembly required. It even comes with poo bags! I highly recommend for all pet parents no matter how old their fur baby is.
Getting our dog Rigatoni to use the Bark Potty was easy as pie! We used to have a fake grass matt on our balcony for him to use late at night. The Bark Potty is life changing! I have a 7 year old Chihuahua /Poodle rescue I recently adopted (10 lbs) and ordered the large Bark Potty pad. I was so worried because it took almost 14 hours of training and crating before he finally used it, but since then it’s his new favorite trick. He runs to the potty pad, looks at me, then uses it for a treat! It’s been a few weeks now and since it’s a rainy winter season and we live in an apartment building, it has been a great addition to our household. I think the potty pad may have a slight urine smell when kept indoors, even though my dog doesn’t use it everyday, so I put it near the window and it’s much better when it’s near ventilation. Since my dog is a male, I ordered the hydrant to help his aim, but it hasn’t worked as expected and I’m often cleaning up around the potty pad. Additionally, the large isn’t large enough for my 10 lb. dog. He likes to circle a lot before finding his spot and often walks when releasing, so it’s not large enough to accommodate that. It was suggested that I order two large potty pads, but that’s extremely expensive and would take up more space than I have available. Overall, I really like this product and think it’s the equivalent of a litter box for a dog.
BarkPotty has been a game changer for us. Living in a condo, I don't have a yard so it's constant trips up and down the stars for potty-time which isn't fun when it's raining. We also live in an area where the coyotes run around after dark almost year-round, so those nightly potty trips can be scary. Having the BarkPotty on my patio, I can take Olive out for those nightly potty breaks and keep her safe from the coyotes and also keep her dry if it's raining because she's a diva and absolutely HATES the rain!
The standard size is perfect (she's a mini-dachshund), and it doesn't take up a ton of space on my patio. Because we take regular walks during the day, it's pretty much only used at night so we avoid those pesky coyotes, or when it's raining so it lasts so much longer.
This is a must-have for apartment/condo dwellers who don't have a yard that's for sure!
